Office of Rail and Road proposals to modify licence conditions to require membership of an Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme for the rail industry.

Following publication that ORR was “minded to” mandate membership of an ADR scheme, making it a mandatory requirement for a model licence to be granted (as the most effective way to ensure that customers have adequate and uniform redress from rail companies), consultation on these proposals has taken place and the results are set out in more detail here.
